I’m thinking of taking the GMAT after practicing with the official questions provided by GMAC in their official guide 12th edition and the two supplementary Verbal and Quantitative reviews (2nd edition). Basically, the questions on these reviews are actual questions from previous tests. There will obviously be a high correlation between the structure of these practice questions (old exams Qs) and the ones on the Test. However, questions provided by other sources such as Kaplan or Princeton, although good practice, might slightly differ in terms of structure.
So do you think it’s a good idea to take the test without experiencing questions from other sources and focusing solely on the ones provided by GMAC?
Also, other than the 3 books mentioned, are there any other books or software offering questions published by GMAC itself? Do the older GMAT review versions of the book consist of different questions than the new books?
Looking forward to answers by previous GMAT takers/instructors.
